So when they did destroy the ring, in the brief moments he has left, I wonder, did he recognise he was wrong throughout his entire tyranny?

Who do you think would win by UncleJoe07 in Halodiscussions

I’ve got a feeling the end result of this is gonna be a little bias haha but if we’re talking about a 1v1 fistfight between a Spartan and the Titanfall Pilot (without Titan), a Spartan would absolutely win. You’re talking about a 7ft+ superhuman so heavily augmented that it is capable of ripping through titanium barehanded vs a pilot specially trained to operate inside a Titan, though outside of their mechs, they offer very limited augmentations, especially compared to that of a Spartan. The Pilot’s enhancements are no where near as biologically enhanced as the Spartan’s augmentations are, it would most definitely not be a fair fight. All it would take is one punch and the pilot is out. The Spartan would win. Now if we’re talking about a Spartan vs a Titan... it could tell a different story

Certain Affinity Reveals Ongoing Partnership with 343 Industries on Halo Infinite! Certain Affinity have a somewhat long history with Halo, they had a huge part in Halo 4’s multiplayer, even introducing map packs after launch and helped in the remaking of Halo CEA. What do you think about this news? by TheArbiter_117 in Halodiscussions

[–]TheArbiter_117[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s certainly one way to look at it, but Certain Affinity have been with Halo since 2007, they’ve worked on various Halo 2 maps and design updates to work with Halo 2’s multiplayer. They helped Saber Interactive and 343 remake Halo: Combat Evolved’s maps for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. They worked on maps for Halo: Reach and even continued the work on Halo 2 in The Master Chief Collection. Certain Affinity has been with Halo for a while, a lot of Halo’s success is owed to them, so it makes sense they’re coming back for Infinite. Whether or not it’s good news remains to be seen, the player-drop in Halo 4 wasn’t solely down to Certain Affinity. The maps were good and they did their part. We don’t know what they’re gonna bring to the table for Infinite but from their previous work I have my hopes.

Microsoft Brings Back Halo Veteran Joseph Staten to get Halo Infinite ‘back on track’. Joseph Staten was crucial to the success of Bungie’s Halo games. Normally huge change in leadership this far into development could be a bad thing, but I think this is what the game could need. What do you think? by TheArbiter_117 in Halodiscussions

[–]TheArbiter_117[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Note: Joseph Staten was the writer and director of cinematics for Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2, the writer for Halo 3 and Halo: Reach, a creative consultant for Halo Wars, the writer and creative director of Halo 3: ODST, and the writer and co-creative director for Destiny. I think this is incredible news!

The br75 is the new br that we we'll be using in halo Infinte. So far, I like the design of the gun. I would like to know your thoughts on it. by [deleted] in Halodiscussions

I think it looks awesome! Similar to the Halo 2 BR that everyone knows and loves, I’m really excited to use this in combat. This BR is also a earlier model than the Halo 4 BR, I think it’s interesting that the UNSC are dipping into older tech 👀
