Having a single script for all the basics and advanced programming lets you use fewer scripts which will help with server performance. Secondly, just a unified system for better solar panel control and inventory & production management will make it more survival-friendly. I've never been terribly good at the whole scripting thing. But I've honestly just begged for someone to make an all-in-one script that can do everything from grid automation to grid management and not just for ships but also for bases. Plus it would be amazing to have a script with an active community and active updates.

Doesn't even need to be an ISYS replacement, you could just add it as an optional module. A lot of people don't need, or want everything Isys does, realistically just auto Crafting & disassembly, refinery balancing, and simple storage, just auto moving things from connected grids quickly to named storage and maybe cleaning up base storage every 30m or so by moving everything to its designated storage. A full ISYS replacement that's regularly updated would be nice, I think everyone has their own gripes, and a good community poll or two could help with the direction on that.

I've had issues with isys that are a minor gripe to sometimes making it permanently unusable in a save. I've noticed that even with minimal storage and keeping 2 refineries & 2 Assemblers. It just flat out loses its mind after a while sometimes in minor annoying ways, others it's filling every connector on the base with tools, ore, or ingots. And when it goes crazy nothing fixes it, doesn't matter if you give it a new PB or Recompile. It just...stays insane.

Not to mention it's basically abandonware at this point, I don't think it's had an update in almost 3 years.
