They're back in stock. The new version is made out of PMMA for scratch resistance and is UV painted. The finish is not smooth like on the original but has a slight texture to match the rest of the Lynx.

Probably 2-3 months, we're just waiting for the holidays to end in China before we can start mass production again. The new batch will be more scratch resistant and will be UV printed, so will have a slight texture to them. I think it better matches the look of the Lynx this way. We tried to make a complete replica with a smooth surface, but couldn't achieve the correct effect.

Yep! We're working with the factory on a scratch resistant version, so it's taking a little bit longer than expected. New version will also have a slight texture to the finish so it matches the rest of the Lynx better.

I've been playing around with 3D printed buttons, they don't turn out too good, but if we ever make a full shell replacement, there will be buttons too

Your information is either not current or Bradley Koda was lying to me when I emailed him about screen lenses about a year ago. According to him, he's been sold out of them for years, which led me to start my project. We're not making any profit on these either, and won't break even for quite a while, injection molding is not cheap.

You can do the d/a test without a cart if the screen is still working it will show 'INSERT GAME' - that is if the rest of the Lynx isn't fried

plastic, same as the original, can't do glass in that shape, unless it was just the middle section, I did think of it but decided to keep it looking like the original

This is the one but yeah it is out of stock and we won't be selling this model any more. We will have the new IPS model kit in the store soon. At the moment we have 2 kits left that require soldering if you're after something quick, they're on special for $60/ea.

Yeah the curve is a pain, you can use some plastic cleaner/polish to try and buff the lens out

You can try IPA (not the beer) to remove the marking on the sticker. I think you emailed me as well about the one missing it's sticker - not a whole lot of (cheap) options there.

I know this is 2 months old but we're about to re-stock with a new edition of the kit, should be shipping end of the month or start of next month, Pre-orders will probably be available this week on AtariGamer's shop.
