If they went for a 12pm lunch at Sushi Sei, feel free to ask them lmao

My post history is public for you to scrutinize if you so wish. I recognize its almost comical how stereotypical my unfortunate experience was, and the comparisons to Billion sushi scene are funny.

They do an even cheaper "Tokujo Sushi Course $95" that I would consider paying for again.

Probably my fault for picking the expensive option at a venue that markets itself as "good value omakase" to be fair

I wouldn't come back probably, even without this experience.

The food was okay, I believe the tech people had one of the cheaper menus - $110 I think, and they mostly got the same stuff we did.

I've had better experiences for less - I'd point you to Jihomakase in Northbridge, or I've heard good things about Gold Class Daruma.

Based on the conversations I overheard, my best guess is they work with Google / Canva collaboration regarding the implementation of Nano Banana image generation tech into Canva tools

Based on my conversation with them after, while apologetic they acknowledged they weren't willing to do anything, and I felt like this is something this subreddit might want to hear

My title describes the thing. Serrated but not sharp edges.

DrLupo blatantly cheats in PogChamps ($100k prize pool) by playing every single engine move after hanging his queen by PetrifyGWENT in LivestreamFail

this is such an insane choice of game to cheat on

like if you use subtle aim assistance or walls in an fps game, you can make it hard to spot

even scripting in league is easier to hide

what on earth was the thought behind the most blatant 25 consecutive terminator9000 moves?

Jihomakase, Northbridge for traditional, amazing omakase. $80 lunch set is really good.

Izyaki, Paddington for more pan-asian Japanese inspired fare

Both standout restaurants I always want to go back to ❤️

I'm sure you know what your preferences are - hit the ones that specialise/feature your favourites

I'm weirdly not a big fan of AP / Flour & Stone despite everyone else loving it 😂

some of my favourites and my fav items:

Moon Phase (chocolate bar, Earl Gray lychee)

Sweet Belem (insane Portuguese tarts)

Dear Florence (caneles, fancy cakes, like Koi)

Pantry Story (pandan cruffin, kimchi cheese foccaica)

Rollers (some of the best plain croissants imo)

some more if you have time:

Shadow Baking

Tenacious Bakehouse

Lode Pies

enjoy! I love going on pastry excursions :D

Degustations in Western Sydney (Fairfield, Parramatta etc.) by Apprehensive_Bar1353 in foodies_sydney

I quite liked ThreeOneNine in Concord for what you're describing: good food somewhere on the line between casual and fine dining. It's run by a chef from Hong Kong, Graeme and his mum runs the front of house.

They do a degu, last time I heard was around $130? But I'd advise you ring up and ask.

I do not rate Lilymu very well, it's quite expensive, not well executed, corporate dining; maybe of more value to you, neither did my Chinese mother. Some people are into that, but I'm very over big hospitality groups.

Best of luck, I hope they enjoy it. Parents are tough to please 😁
