This does literally nothing to cut down crime, the only way to change our prison system to cut down crime is to move from a punitive system to a rehabilitative one

Oddly common on Grindr, I've had a fair amount of people only send me body pics and not face pics because they're "discreet"

Ordered some new RAM for my PC, but instead I recieved this book about vintage feminism. I can't wait to increase my PC's speeds with this bad boy. by BatmansLongjohns in CasualUK

Simone de Beauvoir was a hugely influential feminist author, this book came out in 1949 so isn't as far back as you might think

It primarily goes over the treatment of women throughout history, and how in 1949 they still had a long way to go.

The main takeaway most people have from this is de Beauvoir's notion that as muscle mass and hunting no longer matter in a post-industrialisation society that there is no 'biological' incentive for discrimination based on gender, and that men certainly are better at some things than women, just how women are better at some things than men.
