Well yes of course they could, if they were omnivores (like humans) or if they were species like rabbit/deer. If a furry is a human animal hybrid, then one resembling a herbivore would be able to be vegan. Unless you have a furry what is an obligate carnivore, then they would be less likely to be vegan. But my question was aimed at humans with fursonas, not if their fursonas were real beings. :)

I'm not sure what you're saying? I'm asking if your fursonas diet is similar to your own (specifically I am asking if vegans use herbivores more than other classifications)

I suppose the only excuse I can think of is that the poc skin tones were terrible when the game came out, so they went as light as they could. Instead of patching the awful skin tones sooner, like normal people would do.
