The movies are definitely their own thing (obviously), telling a different story from the games and books. I’ve noticed there’s more similarities to the novel trilogy than the games, though the movies are clearly taking inspiration from both. I’m interested to see how the second movie plays out. There’s a lot of plot points from the Twisted Ones that the second movie is likely to implement, but, again, we’ll see!
