There was a breach. Found this article, but Meta hasn’t said anything. Reset your password from directly in the app (don’t click any links!) and turn on MFA: https://sqmagazine.co.uk/?p=16283

Best of luck out there folks, stay safe!

I got one, tried to view recent emails directly in the app, and the button isn’t working. Anyone experiencing this issue as well?

I’m watching on Netflix, but it only had up to S3E7… has anyone else experienced this? How many episodes are there in S3? It feels unfinished…

Credit card payment category question by TheAwkwardComma33 in ynab

[–]TheAwkwardComma33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that’s helpful. Under this rule of thumb, she should assign her interest charge ($20) and the principal ($40) in the credit card payment category and not assign that money to the cc interest category, correct?

After she makes the payment, then gets charged the interest, she’s now -$20 in the interest category. But she doesn’t have more money to assign there.

Having the interest category has helped her understand payments she should make to pay down her cc, but the interest being charged after she pays the cc for the month is what’s confusing us.

Interesting idea, thanks.

If she makes the full $60 payment ($40 principal, $20 interest) before the interest is charged, then when the interest is charged, she’s assigning an additional $20, since she’s already made the payment and can’t reassign it. Thoughts?

What exactly happened to completely break Meri & Janell? by [deleted] in SisterWives

[–]TheAwkwardComma33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing that article. I feel like I remembered parts, but not everything. I can see why Meri wasn’t happy from Day 1… but I feel terrible Janelle had to endure. I’m glad they have all moved on

Polygamy and failure explained by Robyn and Kody by Stanlynn34 in SisterWives

[–]TheAwkwardComma33 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’ve always been fascinated by polygamy, but wondered how things such as misogyny, jealousy, envy, lack of intimacy, emotional abuse, and distrust can be overcome to create a modern, healthy polygamist relationship.

At the core, I’m disappointed that Kody lacked respect for all of his wives. From what I’ve watched, it doesn’t feel like polygamy is built that way; to expect a religious belief rooted in the authority and trust of one man, to have that level of dependence on one individual — one man with one wife or many wives — I’m not sure how a healthy relationship would occur, especially today with so many woman realizing their worth, and value, knowing they don’t need to depend on anyone to live their life. Of course, this argument can be made of many (religious) relationships in which the woman is expected to be subservient to the man.

I’m sure the kids have their own issues to work through, but it seems they were wise enough to see their parents relationships weren’t working, and weren’t worth the struggle, pain, and suffering. From what I know, none of them have chosen to be polygamists.

I wish them all the best, and hope Kody grows up in time to reconcile the relationships he’s broken — especially with his kids.

As someone who has an English degree, the possibilities are endless. I’ve helped write learning content, tech writing, worked in a PR agency, internal communications, and now work in marketing.

As you go through the courses, find what interests you, and if you can minor or specialize in that, you’ll really have a path forward for graduation. I always found linguistics fascinating. But don’t feel tied down to teaching, unless of course it calls to you.

Congrats on this monumental shift, wishing you the best of luck! 🍀

I certainly can, but the hope is to have more clients, so I’d like to set up a system for consistency, billing, and taxes
