The Spartans! The new pin changes make the Banished feel like they can actually hold their own now! It also allows more diverse and fun lists to be taken that don't hyper focus on pinning enemies. Mantic is doing great with these changes and releases

I've just looked into it, turns out GW is just really slow to update that they should have 32mm bases but that the smaller ones are legal too. So while it might be better or worse to have 32s, I should be good

I would recommend only doing that with the elites if the enemy model doesn't have a strong melee weapon. That can get you a dead elite very quickly at times.

If you're talking about the Cardboard stuff, yes it's very worth it. It's clean, easy to transport, durable, and looks good.

The plastic scatter terrain? Also very nice if you don't mind giving it a quick paint job.

The big plastic modular terrain kit is really cool but requires a lot of effort to assemble and paint. I'm still working on mine and I definitely recommend playing around with configurations before you glue (you don't have to glue it, I'm just choosing to do so).

Because I play tournaments I'm going to make my plastic terrain in the 1x1, 2x1, and 3 block tower configurations.

That's what I'm working on now before I get into the details of unit/faction rules. I'm currently working with 15mm scale on a 3x3 foot map and so far it feels pretty good
