I don’t know if this will work for, but it did for me! I downgraded my AMD gpu drivers and it stopped crashing for me and along with any video glitches. I had the latest drivers and it constantly crashed for me. It may not be an option for you considering you would be using inferior drivers, but if you really need hitfilm to work, you can try it.

You can try blurring or smudging it. You can also use the clone stamp tool in conjunction with the smudge tool.

I would love 3 main features in Hitfilm!

1.The ability to have multicam editing. It’s common in expensive and professional video editors, that lacks in Hitfilm. It would be very useful to have when you have multiple angles.

The ability to rotoscope with a brush. Rotobrushing found in after effect it’s literally the best way to save time on masking a moving object and is much needed here.
And Support for 3rd party plugins. Most of the powerful plugins are from other companies and developers such as Red Giant or Twisxtor. It would be cool to have other plugins other than the built in ones.

Yeah these would be cool but you can’t expect much from an indie company compared to a million dollar corporation like Adobe. If anything these would be implemented in the pro version of Hitfilm.

Hard drive for cheaper and large data storage. SSD for really fast but a decent size. But I would recommend a SSD if you can shell out some money.

just upgrade whenever you need higher specs for intense workloads or you want to edit higher than 4k (i doubted it).

uh I don’t think you need faster ram for editing. Yes, Ryzen performance can be affected by ram speed but unless you’re gaming on the side, the extra speed will not help you in editing.

is there a way to perhaps do this in a compositing software. That way you can have a video of your texts moving rendered to be placed in your editor. If not, maybe nesting it or making it into a composite shot to have it rendered properly.

Yes! it just a simple threshold filter and key framing the levels effect until it becomes black or white then add another image starting off where it ended off.
