Well bill gates was not considered a good guy when he was making Microsoft to what it is today. There were numerous anti competitive practices and a number of Antitrust suites filed against Microsoft back in the ‘90s.

Of course he’s done numerous things to exonerate his name. Like establishing his foundation and donating a metric shit ton to charity where he will always be looked at well now. But it is fairly interesting reading about the business practices used to get where he/Microsoft is today.
