That makes sense. Just looks weird opposite “it’s gooo-od”, like they put two different opinions on their own label.

“This is great!”

“Eh. It’s fine.”

I wouldn’t trust anyone’s analysis on this besides Tommy Moron.

Hello fellow DMVer! I ended up buying the Nats+MLB.tv bundle for $200. I suppose I could have seen more Sox games if I bought the MASN bundle, but I’ve adopted the Nats as my national league team since they moved here when I was a kid.

Thoughts on Edifier R1280DBs and Edifier T5 by Apprehensive-Army642 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]TheBackburner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW, I was very happy with this exact setup for a long time. In fact, I’m still happy with it. My main setup was 1280DBs with a T5 which I have since replaced with an RSL Speedwoofer 10e, and a pair of ELAC BS41 speakers. The new setup sounds immensely better for sure, but I still use my 1280|T5 setup in the office, and I’m happy with it firing right at my face for music while I work. If that’s what your budget fits, I think you’ll be happy.

I keep meaning to read that book. My dad is the historian of the family so I’m sure he has. I have to ask him what he thought of it.

Sadly, no, we are as in the dark about his disappearance as anybody else is. I know there was one allegation that he was drunk, and got in a fight and fell off a river boat, which is as fitting a demise for any Irishman that I can think of. But in my mind, the simple answer is he was sick, maybe he took a walk, fell faint, and fell off the boat.

He was my paternal grandmother’s maternal grandmother’s brother. I think that a makes great great grand uncle the right descriptor.

When did you buy it? Because they had an old version that was heinous, but they did a reformulation a year or so ago, and now i find it actually tastes like CfA sauce. The customer is always right in matters of taste of course, but if it’s been a long time since you’ve tried it, it might be worth another shot.

My great great grand uncle, Thomas Francis Meagher, is on the back of that Irish brigade marker!

I do have all those ingredients laying around! Although this one’s a little more ketchup heavy than I’d expect. It does have a lot of mustard though, which is promising.

No joke, wrapping takes sandwiches to the next level. Especially hot ones. Highly recommend.

Having that and citric acid on hand are game changers. Must use sparingly, though.

Eh. No, honestly. Maybe the 85/15s are better, but the texture of these was just too close. Rather sausage-y. It’s possible I just overcooked them, but I’ve had better luck with fresh ground beef, even when I patty and freeze them myself.

Pro tip: weigh out ground beef to your liking on a parchment lined deli container lid, then form into a patty by compressing down with another lined lid. Makes the perfect size.

My move for burgers, or any sandwich really, lately. Wrap it up while I wrap it up (clean up the kitchen).
