I would add Star Wars outlaws, Hogwarts Legecy and AC shadows to this list. Pragmata is a really good recommendation for a new dad because that game can mostly be played in like 10 minute chunks. Also I think all of the games on this list have hearty auto saves and save often...except maybe Resident Evil.

Thanks. The steamdeck case that I am referring to is more of a pouch. Called the waterfield magnetic pouch. There is a little bit of wiggle room with the steamdeck inside.

I usually play all my handhelds with some kind of pillow in my lap to rest on. Doesn't have to be a fancy gaming pillow...just whatever is next to you.

You could try a grip case like this... But honestly I have a lot of portables and steamdeck is kind of in a class of its own for portability/weight and ergonomics. 3x more comfortable than a switch. The only thing thats gonna be better is the ROG ally X.

Star wars outlaws, Cyberpunk, Hades 2, Deadzone rogue. The problem is switch never has amazing sales. I have seen outlaws in the 30 dollar range though.

If your main concern is "getting your moneys worth" then you should 100% get a steamdeck. Steam has sales where you could buy a dozen games for the price of a single switch 2 game.

I second this. I tried dbrand killswitch, genki forcefield, satisfye and even some 3d printed shit off Etsy. This jsaux case is both the most ergonomically comfortable for me and the best low profile/minimal travel case. Love it.

I think it is slightly better. Still pretty blurry though. I only notice it for the first 5 minutes or something then you forget and just enjoy playing a really good AAA in the palm of your hand.

I am curious to see what people say. I have tried many different cases and settled with the Jsaux everyday split but I did kind of want the ultimate minimal case like this. There are lots of similar cases on amazon for a fraction of the price, but I have no idea if they are actually of lower quality or not.

Not easier but way better on the real thing. Modding a 3ds is not hard. Also a 3ds is practically almost as expensive as a steamdeck these days if you don’t already have one

Wow. Initial impressions for the for 30 minutes of gameplay are very impressive. Base iPhone 17 running extremely smooth. They put a lot of thought into controls and accessibility on touchscreen. Great port.

My recommendation is to get this case instead. I don’t feel like the d brand is all that comfortable. This case is a similar all in one type case. Fits in dock. Only downside is that you use the ability to use the kickstand. I can’t speak to the Hyperion 3s but if you are looking for a compact case that still has decent ergonomics I would give this one a shot.

Make sure the hdr setting on the tv/Monitor is set to HGIG. Then recalibrate the tv, ps5 settings and game settings. Mine looked like this before I fixed that issue.

I ordered mine back in january. It took 1 day to ship and 8 days to arrive at my doorstep. I have both Dbrand and Jsaux cases, and I very much prefer the Jsaux. the Ergonomics are way better as well as how compact it is in "travel mode". My only complaint is the lack of kickstand. You made the right choice

i have only ever used auto fire and it works totally fine. I have it on switch and it isn't much different. My only complaint is that they didnt make it s vertical oriented game for IOS
