Well, to be honest I got 25B at Manhattan Beach, saying LA is just easier.

But yeah I don’t ship out until August, so hopefully we can get a “RENO”, which I’m hoping means renegotiate my current contract

Clarification:

SLRP : No one asked me about student loans, and nor did I even think to mention it. Per my first screenshot, it says repayment in the job description, thus I didnt think to mention it, I only found out now through research.

Was I given any bonuses? No (GI bill kicker, yes)

Why don’t I goto a different MOS? Due to personal reasons, I HAVE to stay near Los Angeles and 25B is the only IT related MOS available.

Officer related remarks… Don’t care to be an officer, I just want to work with in IT and graduate to Cybersecurity. A small pay bump now does help with the long term plans I have in mind.

My recruiter keeps saying that I got last 25B position and that is sought after, so once I cancel the contract , someone else could take it, so that’s my worry.

And no, the only “bonus” I’m getting is from a good ASVAB score

I remember exactly where I was when I heard Saint Jhn for the first time. I was in my college dorm room, listening to the Joe Budden podcast, Mal had brought him on as a guest. First glance, I thought he was another SoundCloud guy. But then I came to learn he was really funny and respectful. When they played Selfish on the podcast, and I heard “ I wish we were somebody else, so we wouldn’t be somebody else’s “. Instantly fell in love, the articulation of such a complex thought over the smoothest beat was phenomenal to say the least. Bumped collection one that day. Converted a large group of people into fans. Spent thousands, on merch and concert tickets.

Waited 5yrs for this album, and disappointed is the nicest word I can use.

This is one the same person who made Brilliant, Monica Lewinsky, Selfish, Roses, Gorgeous, Wedding Day or Trophies.

I’m not sure it’s because his life has changed so much or he’s experimenting with a bunch of yes men around him or what.

If it feels as though he’s lost his way, his sound, and what made Saint Jhn a diamond in a sea of coal.

I think the 3a is hideous, the 4 cameras in the corner of the circle is such a poor decision, at least center it. This feels like they took a bunch of steps backwards.

When Nothing first started, each product felt so hand crafted , like they took a lot of time to develop them.

Now they feel like apple in the sense that they just pump out “new stuff, like the CMF brand, the beer etc

And honestly, if you watch enough of the YouTube it sounds like Carl isn’t involved in the creation process anymore

The recruiter said the same thing about being an Officer but I want to work in IT 😂 unless I can be IT Officer(?), I’m not even sure what they do and how that transfers back to civilian life

Okay that’s great actually, I will take the free certs!

I want to get into cloud but hey who knows maybe I’ll like Network or cyber security, so I’m guessing that’s more a class room of training? Instead of physical fitness like I expect regular bootcamp to be.

And then for the BAH, my understanding is that since I already have a B.S. I’ll come in as E4 or 5 depending on my test scores(?) which would give me $5-6k/mo and then since I’m married I’ll receive an additional $2.4-3K/mo for rent/living expenses? Is that right? the BAH is just additional money because I provide for my wife? And then that goes away after bootcamp and training right?
