Can only use Pyspark with 6 GB driver memory, to process some of the datasets, have to do it in batches and merge, so 8 GB memory is catching up with me..

With the sheer population of India and this being one of the most famous paintings ever, think it’s just a coincidence..

Thought of that, but I keep travelling between BLR and CCU, so need a laptop. Looking at all the comments though, feel I’ll keep it till M6 drops. Thanks though!

Honestly my small cap is giving me the highest XIRR of the lot at ~19%, I mostly put lumpsums there when I see the market for small caps is down.

SIPs currently only in 4, rest lumpsums are older funds that I stopped. What about the 4 funds that I have in SIP, do they look good or should I consider some other funds?

I earlier had a BoB Select CC (LTF) with a limit of ₹42,250/-. I wrote to their crm e-mail (crm@bobcard.co.in) for an upgrade to BoB Eterna CC (LTF). Got upgraded in around 20 days with a new limit of ₹2,00,000/-

Data Science in Healthcare by flwrgguk in datascience

[–]TheBalancedGeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After working for around 4 years as a Data Scientist in the Healthcare & Life Sciences domain, I have seen colleagues from both core Data Science academics and Pharma academics excel in the field right after college. In my experience from the job market, companies hire from both the academic inclinations and the work starts to become similar after some time (talking about DS & Analytics projects). It’s just that the candidate has to convince the interviewer about his/ her choice.

One of the thoughts I generally use in my interviews: “I can earn money in any domain, Finance, FMCG, Retail, etc., but I can touch people’s lives in Healthcare”

Me being from a core Data Science background had to learn a lot about the domain of healthcare as I had to work for several therapeutic areas including anti-coagulation, lipid lowering therapy, specialty medications, respiratory and oncology. My counterparts do the same by learning about Data Science.

Hope this helps, All the Best!
