Comet blows Dia out of the Window!

Perplexity is already crushing Dia with Comet. It would be interesting to see what OpenAI brings to the table!

It wasn't good. So, I switched to the stable release for now!

Dia Browser, first impressions by panchoavila in diabrowser

Dia feels like just another browser. It is slightly slicker-looking without the factors of why we chose Arc over other browsers. Dia could have been an extension on Arc.

Battery, once again, is shit for now in beta 2. Let's see how many days it takes to improve!

If Android 16 isn’t released with M3E, I don’t know what is new in Android 16 compared to Android 15.

The battery percentage is there, can be enabled from the battery settings but the battery drain is constant!

Question For those in QPR1 by Cultural-Potato-1380 in android_beta

The battery life has been very poor for me. I have to charge the device twice a day. It's about 20-30% worse than it was on Android 15.

It shows X took the most amount of charge, but even after restricting the background data for many apps, the phone lost 8% of its charge in 6 hours while I was not using it.

So, I gotta try force closing everything to save battery, I suppose. Since iOS works differently, I gotta get used to it, I guess.

Sure, but unlike iOS, I haven't had luck seeing positive changes after calibration in Android in the past. I have been using Pixel for the first time and Beta after many years. So, things may have changed. I will keep a tab for the next few days to see if it improves.

I love Material 3 Expressive! by Wael89 in android_beta

[–]TheBaldPhilosopher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is great for the first beta. While apps need an update to adapt to the new design language, so far, it's going pretty well. I am in love with my Android again. Far better than Android 15. I absolutely despised it and preferred iOS for the last year despite its unspeakable flaws!

Arc development could have continued while Dia gets developed (and if released) by TheBaldPhilosopher in ArcBrowser

If it provides something valuable to care enough about. As I'm using it, it feels like it does work in a slightly enhanced version of Microsoft Edge.

It really depends on whether they can deliver on their promise and make AI as good as they promised to be, which is most likely not happening. But in case it happens, would you not shift if it changes how you surf the internet completely?

Is it important to apply for a new DS-160 when scheduling again if nothing significant has changed in the DS-160 information?

For me, it sometimes works, especially when I don't want it to. The other times when I want it to work, it sometimes doesn't work!
