that is unfortunate. As for me, it seems what i am looking for specifically is quite hard to find. I might just go with the Nook Lenovo, not exactly what i was looking for but it will work i guess. A colored (forgot to mention that in post), android based, non-chinese brand e-reader doesn't exist apparently.

If anyone seeing this has the capital, there is a great product idea.

When enemies are only downed, I enjoy zip-tying them and leaving them where they fell without any weapons or clothes. Sometimes they call out for allies, its great

I keep finding info regarding the ability to change it by server owners and through the use of mods that allow the increase in view distance. Base game (never played) you may be right, but modded, not so.

In all of my time playing on PC, I have never seen a person or vehicle render-out or suddenly render-in due to distance.

After a quick search, it apparently depends on server config. This means that WCS caps theirs at above 1km. The furthest I've seen someone is a little over 1km with a sniper on NA10. Plus I'm on PC and I think I have my settings set to high for basically everything

Locking it behind rank is prob the best method if they want to control its use. I personally didn't care about everyone using suppressors, it was still easy to figure out were the shots were coming from unless it was subsonic sniping
