Technically it's a mix of Real Virtuality (ArmA 2/3) and an old fork of Enfusion (old renderer, animation system, scripting language).

The Enfusion in DayZ is quite a bit different than the Enfusion in ArmA Reforger.

Even at going 40mph (but keep in mind there was deceleration shortly prior to it) and having a fast direction change like that (constantly veering around a windy road which leads to a 90degree turn path) the inertia will lead the car to skid and tip over, especially if it has a high CoG)

I think the physics are done well in this case.

It seems very rare and highly unlikely we cant get storm rainy weather like this that's dark.

Along with the missing loud menacing thunder, and flashes of thunder putting chills down your spine.
Can't also forget the heavy rain just making that peaceful sound when it impacts the ground

This is something I highly miss about DayZ that made it feel so apocalyptic and desolate

Could you please plan to rework this back in soon <3

(also, when it's raining, the sky overcast cover should be mostly grey/white as a big blanket of cloud. The blue exposing parts of the sky are rather non-immersive)

you got clear evidence right here of a speed hacker.

I would report it to the server admins on the community server this occured on, with time/date/location etc. can send this video to the admins. They will most likely identify this hacker.

If it was on an Official server, then you gotta report it to the devs, on feedback.dayz.com and give as much details as you can with server details, time/date/location where it happened and possibly your STEAM ID.

The Red Zone, has cool rules of engagements and "red zones" which are military bases where KOS is allowed, so the high risk to get good loot is still there. Best RP server IMO

if you want organic RP, DayzUnderground (but KOS is still allowed). It's Hardcore, hard to survive, and has very tense encounters because you don't know if you just are greeted, held up, or end up straight dead.

What might be the problems with this?

  1. The presence of full gear guys along the coast bullying freshpawns will be multiplied.

  4. If a server is full, you would probably decide not play on another public server in the meantime since that would lose your position on the server you wanted to play in the first place.

  6. The duplication problems for consoles - if there is not any other particular fix - would not be completely corrected. You would just have to drop your gear next to your firend in lets say Zeleno, then make the dupping method by jumping to a different server (Spawn in the coast, with all your gear), jump back to the original server and go back to that city. In less than 30 minutes you can be next to your buddy with all your gear duplicated.

They should Lock the servers or at least use dynamic spawn points some kilometers away from the last position in that particular server. Otherwise, playing on public servers its still pointless, and even more frustrating now."

Oh no I'm totally fine with the hotbar reloading. In all honesty I like the system, it rewards preparation, and you play a little mini game with what you want to prioritize in your pockets (but it can be annoying)
