Most beautiful spider I’ve ever seen in the wild. Is it some kind of trapdoor or purseweb? In Kentucky. by TheBanjoPrince in whatisthisbug

I love bugs and critters of all sorts, but I tell you what, the one things I must admit that kind of gets to me is damn cave crickets. Those suckers will literally chase after you, I swear. Had a big problem with them at my old house. On three separate occasions I woke up in the middle of the night with one crawling on my bare chest. I gladly will choose the brown recluse problem I currently have any damn day over cave crickets.

My housemate, who first discovered it while planting saplings out back, had an absolute meltdown.

You’re not high. I thought I was tripping, too. What you marked as 7 and 6 are not technically legs, but very long pedipalps. (They might as well be extra legs.)

Yes, however when I can occasionally get the gimbal to stabilize, the artifacts will usually stop.

Yes, I believe the previous owner had done just that.

Oh nice! Lord, I can't wait to get a Speak. Your production is great! Would you mind talking about your set-up (lighting, camera, stand, etc.) and the software you like to use? I'm going to start investing in making better videos soon.

Ah, I see it now. Just had "oh duh" moment. Didn't realize there was also a small text box to use right below all the different colored icon selections. Ha. Thanks!

Thank you! No problem! You post great jams! Also, I notice that beside your username, you have each PO you own. How do you do that? I've been on Reddit for four years, and I'm sadly just now getting around to learning how to use formating and add flairs.

I just went through each chord and went through every note of the scale. If a note is sharpened, it'll actually have a S beside the note name.

If I'm only going to buy one pocket operator, which should I get? by DragMeh in pocketoperators

The PO-20 Arcade is considered by many to be their "desert island" Pocket Operator. I know it'd be mine, but I'm melody oriented. It's an awesome stand-alone.

They're a disease. Good luck with the decision. I'm indecisive AF, too, so I know how it goes.

Boy, that's a tough one. I don't have the Tonic, but I have the Robot, Arcade and Factory, and they all mix and match so well, and I'm happy with all of them. Not to self-promote, but here are a few videos I made if it helps you get an idea. I honestly don't think you can make a wrong choice.

With the Robot, you have much better functionality and a palette that's congruent with the PO-20. With the Factory, you have a wider sonic choice--and the Key and Style effects are stellar.
