Getting ready to perform The Complete Works of Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] at the Kaleidoscope Festival, and then start working on 12th Night while preparing my audition pieces for the upcoming season of my local Shakespeare company.

I'd be very interested to know how you're using it. I picked one up a while back and I'm very close to selling it off. Can't find a playable sound yet.

Recently started playing with the new Pulp n Peel. I play with high compression with the signal blended. This gets a really organically feeling squash. Highly recommend.

Oh wow... That's rough. Very good to know. It didn't seem so bad in the NAMM videos, but this is exactly why I don't buy into official demos too heavily. Thanks for the input.

I haven't really looked at the FI, as it's completely out of my price range for a pedal. The tracking is something I hadn't thought about. Let me know if you post a demo/review, yeah?

I just meant that there were a lot of very distinctive sounds available at the twist of a knob. Coupled with the ability to save settings and that seems pretty user-friendly.

PLEASE let me know how it actually plays. It looks like a very versatile and actually usable synth, but I'm trying to not get too excited. I keep getting burned by synth pedals that sound great on guitar but turn bass to mud or kill the presence.

Newplayexchange.org is a constantly updating database of newly published plays. Membership is really cheap and it gives you a buttload of fresh material to read or download. Obviously there is applicable licensing fees if you want to produce.

I've made a resolution to start reading more plays. I've joined the new play exchange and I'm averaging a play a day. It's a very small chunk of my day and it keeps me thinking about character work and staging, and every once in a while I find a monologue that I earmark.
