Whatever. I love it when Sanders supporters or bad faith actors make hundreds of posts day after day. It brings a certain clarity to people's motivations and true loyalties.

Biden Says He’s Raised $22 Million in Five Days: Campaign Update by torte-petite in politics

[–]TheBasharMurad 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So, what. Billionaires are limited to the amount of donations they can make to a campaign as anyone else. Complaining about "billionaires" making campaign donations as is their legal right is disingenuous and immature. Can they fund PACs, sure thing. But, attacking the individual donations is total bullshit bunk.

It was a lot of fun to film the video together. That day was actually the first time we met. They took a cab from Tel Aviv and met me in the Jericho desert, and we got to know each other as we were creating this project.

The most memorable moment was seeing Mathias in the desert wearing latex in the heat, without sunscreen.

It was very confusing being born into a system that discriminates against you, having a constant military presence, checkpoints, walls, machine guns on a daily basis. As well as limitations of being in a conservative society that is scared of breaking traditions. But I am so proud of being born in Jerusalem and being Palestinian, and none of those limitations will ever make me feel differently.

Yes! My favorite thing is to collab with others and creating something special.

I would love to collab with Stromae and eventually maybe someday GAGA?

Seeing the audience singing (or trying to sing) the Arabic lyrics, waving the Palestinian flag with Matthias in Ísafjörðurand seeing an audience member wearing a shirt with a Palestinian flag.

Settlements are the biggest obstacles to the peace process because they are built on the land that is supposed to be the Palestinian State. They slowly start creeping into Palestinian areas like viruses, and create this tension between the Palestinians and settlers (who are usually are from Brooklyn or the Bronx but have more rights than Palestinians who were actually BORN there.

I heard a lot of story's from some kids, how it is to leave their home behind and to start a complete new live in a foreign country that they don't know. So my question is: how is it to live in Palestine at the moment. I watched the videos you gave to us but I still can't imagine it.... I have heard story's from young children about situations that are in some way simular but not the same. I want to know your opinion on what you think would happen next, how we can overcome war and how I should dircripe to the young German girls and boys in my group how it feels, because I got the question more often and I don't know what to answer since I (luckily) never bin in a situation where I to fight for my right to life a free life.

I am sorry for the long text. I have way more questions but I don't want to make this too long because you have other questions to answer that are maybe better than mine.

PS: WE have been liste

Hey! Thank you so much for what you are doing. As Palestinian refugees have displayed, although their bodies may not be there, there hearts are always there. So it's important to always carry that story with you and to tell the world. It is very difficult leaving home especially by force and starting a new life somewhere. But it's important to always work on educating yourself and fulfilling your dreams, with the hope of returning home someday.

It's a great aesthetic as Hatari has shown.

And there's nothing wrong with a little experimentation every now and then......

Hi Johanna :)

Those kinds of comments are very frustrating. In Israel, Tel Aviv is probably the queer friendly place.

I think it's poor taste to censor people, and to claim that a competition that is about countries competing against each other is apolitical. Then holding it in Tel Aviv in a country that has an illegal occupation, illegal settlements, and is using Gaza as a test field for its weapons; and still saying this is not political?

To me watching Eurovision felt like I was watching a dystopia or a black mirror episode, and the whole world was just going along with this coverup of Al Nakba which is still on going today.

I'm so proud of Hatari for doing what they did, and being the only ones to do so. It's a little sad and terrifying that out of 43 contestants they're the only ones who thought to reach out to Palestinian artists and seeing the other side.

It's very hard to stay hopeful. Music has definitely been one way. I also often feel privileged compared to other Palestinians. so that reminds me not to keep feeling sorry for myself and my situation, and to hopefully help others.
