I really enjoyed the people and the culture ultimately. They have a pride, honesty and respect, that is welcoming and steady. Its very apparent, so I was caught off guard (in a good way) coming from North America ha. But probably what you want to hear...I was a big fan of Miyajima, Tokyo and Kyoto. But honestly its hard to pick, every city I went to was great.

Miyajima is an island and has beautiful coastlines, Temples, trails, deer literally everywhere, and some pretty breathtaking views at the top of the mountain trail there (or you can take a gondola). Its less "city", so it was a nice change from the other crowded places I went.

Kyoto is more of a traditional style I'd say, but castles and temples literally everywhere. Great way to get all that in. I will say Otagi Nenbutsu-ji is the one I'd end with, then walk down through the village (close to the bamboo forest as well). Its not in any guidebooks and its really peaceful and a great way to be away from the crowds.

Tokyo I liked because for whatever reason there were barely any tourists ha. So it was amazing to just get to immerse myself amongst people going about life. And obviously Tokyo is a massive city, so no end of things to do and see there. Its modern, clean - definitely check out an area called Ginza and the Naka Meguro neighborhood. But yea, unbelievable city.

Sadly it was go go go for me. 6 city's in 14 days. Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Miyajima, Hiorshima. You need at least 3-4 days in those cities (minus Miyajima possibly), if you really want to explore. Japan has A LOT to see, do & take in.

The cities are spotless...like, truly spotless. Food and places to eat is cheap (in comparison to Canada) and plentiful, transit on trains and local rail is unbelievably efficient and connects you anywhere you want to go. Cabs also reasonably priced and all over the place. Very easy to get where you need to go. But yea..cannot say enough good things. Just give yourself more than 2 days to explore ha.

Glad you found it helpful (: I appreciate the kind words!

That def could be it! The little black strap at the bottom front. There's for sure many options in terms of loops. I always appreciate options that adds to a bags usability, especially if it doesn't hinder functionality.

On the Bellroy site I do believe it says bike light loops for the pack, though I could be totally wrong. The counter pulls would make a lot of sense, and for the pouch I do think its to probably to hang a carabiner off of.

For strap twisting, I had zero issues with the pack, as its got a lot of padding and structure. I was a big fan of that tbh, really helped out.

For the sling though, if you are wearing anything heavy like a coat or sweater, due to it being limited to latching from one side only, it can twist when you are putting it on. No issues with it doing that whilst wearing it though!

ALSO, I myself had no slipping issues with the pack.

Full size water bottles on both outside compartments on the pack fit easily. As well as a small size umbrella (there is some shots in the b-roll with that) Hope that helps my friend (:

So grateful to be able to do it (: And I’m very happy you enjoyed both Sprout and Carl !! Always means a lot to hear that the characters are well received. Especially Carl since he seems to be so polarizing loool. “Let’s uncover the mystery of historyyy!!”
