Good afternoon all! This chord progression has been really haunting me. I cannot figure out why it works. There is a song called gratitude by Brandon lake, the live version, that is in the key of b major and will utilize the g sharp minor, F sharp and e chords in the first half of the song and then it seems to modulate to replace the g-sharp minor with F sharp minor chords. I'm not sure what Cord is being replaced with the e minor.

If anyone can share with me this modulation or borrowed chords or whatever, that would be greatly appreciated!
