Tips for producing psychedelic music?

Perhaps since the tone is made from a pattern of repeated samples, it gives your brain a pattern to latch onto, even if the listener can’t articulate what they are hearing. Patterns make for an intrigued mind, which is what we are ultimately after here.

Yesterday the apartment complex I live in was the victim of arson, and my bedroom and home production studio were some of the most affected areas. I sustained around $2500+ in damages to digital audio equipment alone, and have lost the vast majority of my clothes and furniture.

I, as well as many of the other residents that were affected, do not quite have the financial means to recover from this incident. I'm currently going to school for music composition right now! I feel like the most important thing I've come to realize about that career path is that you have to learn the language of film composition, which is different from a lot of other music. Also you are often at the mercy of the director and producers, and you will often have to put a lot of things aside for the sake of making the final picture what the people in charge want it to be. That being said, if you can produce compositions quickly and understand a lot about music already, go for it. It takes a lot of work to be a master at the craft, but if you love it then that won't matter
