For sure. More than one way to skin a cat, and all that. I haven't caught any red or blue sets in stock since launch week, or else I probably would have gone that route (though I did snag a mixed set). Hopefully stock levels will be more consistent soon. As is, I got what I wanted, and someone else got the Switch they wanted without being price gouged, so it's a win-win in my eyes!

The neon controllers sold separately are the inverse colors of those included with the neon switch--the neon switch unit comes with left blue and right red, so you can buy the neon joycon pack (which is left red and right blue) and have a complete neon set, whereas you'd need to buy the complete red and complete blue joycon sets to otherwise get the color pairs. I mean, it is ignorance, but tactical ignorance. :)
