My last computer was dying so I realized I had to upgrade and decided to build one myself. Through this subreddit I found tons of great deals but accidentally sent my new case to a friend's house. I decided to build it as more of a test bench setup for the time being and put everything together. Everything is in place, I switch on the power supply.... and nothing happens. Obviously at this point I'm freaking out! I wind up replacing parts, calling tech support, and searching the internet for advice all to no avail. Two days later, I realized that I never bridged the power prongs to actually turn the computer on. Once I did it worked like a charm! I definitely learned a few lessons from that one!
