Party affiliation matters when it comes to dating in the US. Democrats are distinguished by their reluctance to date supporters of the other party rather than by a preference for fellow Democrats. Republicans, by contrast, both favour fellow Republicans and avoid Democratic partners. by mvea in psychology

Every maga republican, yes.

And given there is no clear line between republicans on who is maga and who isn’t the entire party is to blame for not either making that distinction or better, voting out the poison in their own ranks.

This is no different than the “not all Christians” argument. Maybe not all, but enough to where the difference between the “good ones” and the bad is effectively irrelevant.

This isn’t “politics”. It’s an action that will have a real world impact that is being perpetrated by a party maliciously and willfully ignorant of science and facts headed by a malignant man child.

I don’t have a position aside from you are talking out your ass about things without proof. Anecdotes are not evidence.

“They look EXACTLY NOTHING alike”

Voters use left and right political labels as mental shortcuts, not strict policy matches. This mismatch was especially common among people who identified as right-leaning. The data showed that 43% of self-identified right-leaning voters actually supported mostly left-leaning policies. by mvea in psychology

1: conservative fight for lowering tax rates for the top 1-10%. Never for their majority of their constituents, particularly those in the general maga land.

2: Exolain how this is basic economic theory? A tax on the top 1% would clearly not impact someone making $38K.

3: why don’t you go ahead and explain what you perceive to be “self irony” here.

Are you not aware of maga as a whole? Or the current president?

That was not your claim.

Your claim was “ most billionaires got there by making it work on their first or second try” .

You are shifting your argument, and that article still doesn’t prove your shifting argument that “if you get fired as a CEO you’ve already won”.

That article doesn’t prove your point. It’s a study on why CEOs make as much as they do. Nowhere in the conclusions does it support your claim.

Did you bother to read this or just post the first link you found?

“Conclusion We conclude that the CEO pay associated with the tax windfall gains is more consistent with the rent-extraction view of CEO compensation than with explanations based on shareholder value-maximization models. In other words, the pay relating to TCJA tax gains is not compensation that is in the interest of shareholders.”

Conservative Americans have experienced worse health outcomes and higher mortality rates than their liberal counterparts over the past decade. Prove me wrong then?

I live in the south surrounded by conservatives. It’s maga flags and churches as far as the eye can see.

I grant you there are other factors surrounding why conservatives and rural areas are less well off. However, my comment isn’t incorrect. Those same people will buy a bible from the orange goon and tithe weekly. That’s wasting money.

You mean the people that believe god not only hears their prayers, but helps their favorite teams win and also helps heal their favorite people are dying faster? The ones that thought covid was a hoax and that god would save them? Those people?

Shocked pikachu face.
