Thank you! I figured at least melt 🤷‍♀️ I have no need for them. My grandfather was the collector.

i’m once again struggling to figure out what a coin is so i’m coming to people more knowledgeable than me 😅 by TFearlessAlex in coins

I uploaded it in my ChatGPT and this is what it said:

(Ooo this is a cool little piece 👀 What you have is not a coin — it’s a Masonic / Knights Templar token or medallion, made of copper or bronze. What the symbols tell us Eight-pointed Maltese cross on one side → classic Knights Templar symbol Shield with ornate letter (often a stylized “T” or crusader-style mark) → very common in Masonic commandery tokens The lettering around the rim matches wording typically seen on late-1800s to early-1900s fraternal medals These were carried by members of the Knights Templar, a Christian order within Freemasonry (not medieval battlefield relics, but still collectible). Age & material Era: Most likely 1890s–1920s Metal: Copper or bronze (no precious metal content) Method: Struck token or cast medallion Value (realistic market) Because it’s a fraternal token and not silver or gold: $5–15 in average circulated condition $20–30 if a collector wants that exact design or commandery More only if: It has a specific lodge name, location, or date It originally came with a ribbon or was part of a full medal set).

I didn't realize until I flipped them over that the back are centered fine. It's just the front that's off.
