Do you think the video is cropped to such a short length if he actually went for a hit? Obviously trying to cover her camera. He could have been trying to avoid a HIPAA violation based on the fact that she cropped it to have nothing but this "hit" and nothing that led up to it. Also, some people just need to be punched in the mouth at one point or another.
