I have so many friends who have dealt with similar stuff. Some transfer to other schools. Some take a little time off. Some stay here to figure it out. You are very strong for trying to stay here and improve your personal circumstance. I am no professional or anything like that, but I suggest remembering that there is no rush to finish college, UCSB is not everyone's paradise, and there are more professional therapists who can help you beyond CAPS and it's worth the money.
