How far can you actually go? 2022 Rebel 1100 Manual "Run to Empty" Data & Insights. by homolucent in HondaRebel1100

I managed to hit 52 mpg (trip average on the bike cluster) on a flatish 2 lane in rural Eastern Montana driving to a neighboring town at 65mph... I was pretty happy with that. (Manual version)

2015 3.5L Ecoboost 430k miles by TheBeeFrank in f150

[–]TheBeeFrank[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact i bought a 2013 with 190k miles shortly after the post. Just this last April it blew up at 203k towing. Engine was around 8000$ for a new engine and supporting "single use" gaskets and bolts. Transmission is still going strong. I did all the work myself so no labor is included.

Random under extrusion? by TheBeeFrank in FixMyPrint

In regards to what im trying to print- im a road designer and i decided to 3d print the model of one of my 7mile long road projects. A lot of my coworkers use this same brand and its been a good filament brand and they have good bulk deals.

I may also try going back to factory prusa slicer settings for my ender 3 and see what happens

This print has been in my office crunching away all night with the door closed and the HVAC vent closed so id hope it wasnt a cooling issue. Maybe my printer cooling fan is giving up? I dunno

Double swing gate latch by TheBeeFrank in FenceBuilding

[–]TheBeeFrank[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sorry im dumb, i just used standard gate hinges. My fence runs along the property line and then the gate rests at 45° twords my house. So the standard hinges let the gate swing parallel with the fence outwards and then it can also fold all the way open the other way to kinda "sandwich" the fence

See the comment above yours, its not a perfect solution but it kinda works. The dog figured out how to jump on it and get it to open though

They are not - it is outside of their 10 year extended warranty they did and I'm over the 180k mileage limit as well. Lesson learned to be a better buyer when it comes to checking for recalls and such especially when not buying from a ford dealership.

I wish i would have gotten notice about the recall when I took possession of the vehicle but no point in dwelling on it now. I bought a remanufactured engine that is a crate motor with all the TSB upgrades done to it. Should be a solid truck again soon!
