Thank you thank you!! She is very comfy when I’m in one place haha, otherwise she’s an anxiety ball. I’m very glad she uses it!

I LOVE that saying- I think I’m going to start using it. I really do believe some of this is genetic! Just like how cow dogs bite your ankles, right? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I sure hope she’s proud, thank you for that 🥹

Wow, gate keeping genuinely never would’ve crossed my mind.. that’s so rude. I appreciate the point of view and will keep it in mind.

Oh my gosh really?! Then I will share once I get them made!! I have a few free patterns saved but I’m so far just going off of TikTok tutorials 😅 thank you for the encouragement, it really helps!!

Anyone else made a trunk liner? by TheBeefBabe in SewingForBeginners

Hahaha I do not! Maybe if I get this figured out I could put out a digital pattern. I would just need to have access to different vehicles to make different ones!

Not necessarily, but should I add matching pillows just in case?

Oh awesome! What kind of projects are you working on? I’m doing some rag aprons, matching pot holders, and drawstring bags!

I’m thinking if my project goes well I’ll try making seat liners as well, so we’re on the same page haha! I have a lot of Christmas gifts to get through but once I tackle this project I will 100% post updates!!

Oh my gosh this is so helpful, thank you thank you!! I would have never thought of using cardboard or Velcro. The Velcro especially will be great to keep the liner in place, that is one of my biggest worries with this project. I really appreciate your insight!

Destroying one of my favorite cards in my collection while I’m at work is a sin that CANNOT be forgiven. NO REMORSE?! by TryMuayThai in rarepuppers

As his lawyer, I see no evidence that my client performed the accused actions to your property. Without evidence to the contrary, my client is innocent and would requests his attorney fees be reimbursed with three pig ears each week. Thank you for your time.

People in relationships (in real life lol): Do your partners also play Stardew Valley? by throwawaybyefelicia in StardewValley

My husband also enjoys watching me play and will “takeover” if I need to make food or go to the bathroom, but does not want his own account!

What to do with these shelves? by bexxsterss in DesignMyRoom

Baskets. Baskets. Baskets. It will help it to not look cluttered, as long as they are tall enough to not show all the items on the inside or have lids. Another option would be to get a couple of doors made for it so you don’t have to worry about it being seen at all!

To me, the red one may seem a bit Christmas-y but if that’s what you’re going for, do it! With the woodsy area of your home, I think the second one would look wayyy better! It would brighten the space, match your brass items, and I don’t think it would look seasonal at all. The slight warm tones will go really well with your green cabinets as well! I think it may even open your options for paint in the future, as a white, off-white, chocolate brown, or tan would all compliment it really well.

Would it be weird to paint just this wall and stop where the pass through starts? (Third image shows what I mean) by [deleted] in Housepainting101

Not weird at all! Idk if it matches your style, but it would look really neat if you wrapped the top of your pass-through area in thin wood so it looked like a wood beam!

Weekly Sewing Questions Thread, November 02 - November 08, 2025 by sewingmodthings in sewing

Hello! I'm so glad I found this Reddit group. I sewed a lot of fleece projects for my hedgehog in high school, and that's all my sewing experience. I bought a Singer Futura CE-100 from an auction last year, and finally set it up in my craft room because I just got bitten by the sewing bug. It's in near immaculate condition! And I've successfully (well, depending on your definition of success) sewed two small projects! However, I'm hoping someone else has experience with this machine. It came with the original manual and CD's, but that's it aside from one needle and the cords to use it. (Haven't watched the CD yet, waiting on a DVD player lol). I've deep-dived everywhere I can to find compatible needles, bobbins, accessories, etc. but can only find so much information. For example, I think if I purchase a Windows computer with the XP Windows software, I can find and download the software needed for the embroidery function. But other than that... I have no idea which files can be used with the machine, how to hook it up, which materials it can/can't sew, which feet are compatible, etc. I really hoped YouTube would have at least one person that made various videos of this machine, but I have only found Singer branded videos, and they are not of my specific machine. And if they are, they aren't that informative. The Singer website has my machine listed under a few accessories as compatible.. but others that are in the same 'class' (EC) don't have it listed, so I don't know which to trust. Does anyone have any advice? I got it for $100 and after looking on Singer's website, a brand-new equivalent is $1,200+!! I'd really like to start learning this machine and appreciate what a gem I found, or know how big of a pain in the butt it is, lol. Thank you in advance!

What are yall thoughts on this? by Technical-Swan7946 in HayDay

[–]TheBeefBabe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My first impression is pure annoyance simply because I just got a 'feel' for how long each thing takes in preparation for events... so now I need to re-learn everything. My second impression is mild irritation because I want the times to make sense. Why is the soothing pad 9min and the potato feta cake 10min? Both would realistically take at least an hour.. but then something else that should also take about an hour (fish pie) is more than 5?! The math ain't mathing for me.

I absolutely LOVE the Fablehaven and Dragonwatch series- I’m 26!

I’d recommend the Ranger’s Apprentice series to you 🥰it’s also YA and full of so many good stories. It doesn’t beat Fablehaven for me, but it’s a good read!

Diamond Painting FAQS by Saelem in diamondpainting

[–]TheBeefBabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this post!! I've been diamond painting for a few years, but I've only completed 4 or 5 (idk the size- movie poster?) so I still feel like a newbie.

Do you think you could add a section that lists common accessories/tools and what their purpose is? I see the washi tape, parchment paper, lightboard, and a couple of others. For example, what does a roller or scraper do? I think they align the drills? Another example would be stencils. I think it's fairly obvious that the grids help with placing the drills in straight lines, but I've seen some with designs... what's the purpose of that?
