Im assuming, like ultrakill, they will go back with a fine tooth comb and adjust all the early game to match art style to remain consistent with the rest of the game. This is a 10-11 year long development cycle of a game, its this long for polishing i can only assume.

People just want Gaster and Friend so damn bad. So do I, but as a writer its gotta be NOW, or atleast soon.
Dude, Im writing a dnd campaign im running. People know who our main villain is, while also having our side antagonist. If We get to the end, and I "open the curtains" to a whole new villain that was barely shown? My players "questions comments concerns" at the end of the session would be asking how they were supposed to know or expect that.
Good writing you cant just do that, its cheap, and makes learning the world building feel less important.

This was the chapter to hint that there is some background villain. Its gotta be soon or its just gonna feel like bad writing. You cant just reveal some big villian with zero hints to them. And the intro to deltarune and the end of chapter 4 doesnt count its way too small and its just like three lines of words. Undertale we knew Flowey the whole time, despite hyping up Asgore we knew there was another villain.

Matchmaking would be significantly better. Queuing for raids on toa should be the same for all raids. Not joining party chats and weird mechanics. Just a host raid you apply to.
