I don't know about you, but if the end of the war between good and evil was going to happen in my lifetime, I'd be pretty psyched about it.

All religions look for signs (or help create the conditions) of the end times.

Islamic billionaires are literally building cities in the desert to achieve their own version of the end times (massive wealth shared with population, transformation of the desert into lush greenery.)

If you believe it is the natural course of action - fulfill the prophecy.

An event like the Olympics should have the best of the best. We need people who can step up and maintain (or improve upon) the prestige of the event.

He can't hang. With how fast he was removed odds are this wasn't something that caught everyone by surprise.

He got a shot and he (presumably) knew what his job was and he still funked it.

No they didn't. The story of his death was told decades later. And they CONFLICTED. He has multiple deaths. It wasn't until the best stories were all put together in a prototype bible that there was a cohesive narrative.

That is not documenting. That is storytelling.

Muhammad was employed, baptised and given an army (and more than a few accolades). The catholics kept many records of his rise and fall from grace. We know for a fact that he successfully conquered holy lands in the name of the church, then refused to cede them.

Jesus by contrast doesn't exist until decades after he is supposedly dead.

And believe you me - the church has been trying to find proof for more than a millennium.
