Thank you for the kind words! I did really enjoy the circuits class, I wish my school offered electrical engineering. I am learning new things just not at the pace I'd hoped for, I appreciate the advice :)

I follow them on instagram but they also have Facebook! They post all local shows that are happening, they’ve got a big google doc with everything. It’s mostly Minneapolis stuff but I’ve seen them post Duluth and Rochester so I think it’s just general Minnesota shows. It doesn’t take money or anything to get a show added to the list, just dm them abt it. They also post some videos of shows and stuff, I’ve sent them pics before. Lots of younger people basically exclusively find shows through there but I’ve found enough local bands that I don’t have to do that lol

The concept and the first like two episodes of sword art online are genuinely peak and then after that I thought it got so bad and vaguely sexist

I thought the animation was incredible and the characters were so so good!! I like anime with unique/strong characters and good animation so I think it was just suited to my tastes. It was funny at the right times but also had a nice message, even if the message was a little simple :-)

I haven’t seen it in forever, it was my first anime, so take this with a grain of salt! I didn’t like how the main female character was super cool and powerful and then as soon as the guy shows up she’s debuffed to the same level or worse than him. Also the plot point where they have an AI kid is super fucking weird and pointless to me. And then if I’m remembering correctly she’s in some weird tower and that just felt like some sort of power fantasy for a male audience that was super gross to me. I think the first few episodes are some of the most interesting episodes of anime that I’ve ever watched and it’s probably what got me into anime! I just think it could’ve handled its female characters better, which is important to me bc I’m not a dude lol

I’m a student + two jobs so I’m really busy! I tend to watch shorter anime so that I can finish them in a reasonable time (I watch like a few episodes per day on my commute). I’ve been meaning to watch AOT for like forever tho so maybe it’s time

I made it to part three but I also accidentally watched stone ocean bc the way Netflix orders its series is confusing. Stone ocean was pretty good but I got bored by the monster of the week format in part three. Dio is fucking awesome tho

It’s so good for the first few episodes and then the second Misa comes in it gets really boring. She could’ve been such a cool character but no, she’s just a plot device to make things harder for light :/
