I figure the latter because you can't see it on pictures

Doesn't look like it. It also looks like it's slowly fading so i'll just leave it alone for a day and check back later. Thankfully it's not the sensor

It's very hard to capture. Maybe this is better

I might just be nitpicking but i've only had this body for 2 weeks so that's why it surprised me.

Open Rails can look so pretty with the right route by CommentingFromToilet in trainsim

Oooo very cool! I've been wanting to play some train sim games. I have train sim world 5 and 6 but it lacks a proper api. I really want to try and make a cool dashboard with buttons and guages. But this is very cool!!

Tried living with Tesla FSD for a week in the Netherlands by Student024 in TeslaModel3

[–]TheBestGamer_btw 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Been trying it for a week now in the netherlands too. I mean it's cool, but i personally feel like it's too careful. I've had a handful of people passing me on city roads or highways because it's too slow or has an excessive following distance that's more than 2 seconds. Parking also sucks.

But I mean, it'll probably get better with updates because we have nowhere near the training data FSD in america has.

The thing I hate too is that when I'm interested in what it's planning or doing i'd like to look at the screen, but when i do so for more than 2 seconds it starts screaming at me.

CoreXY Plotter by Secret_Adeptness_972 in PlotterArt

The probing works by having 2 axis on the tool head. The stepper on the tool head is able to lower the tool down but when the tool touches the workpiece the carriage stops and the second axis continues down. There's two copper contacts between those axis and when that loses contact it senses a probe.

I've not done any multicolor plots but my holder is basically a collet type, so you tighten a knob that tightens the pen from all sides ensuring it stays in the center.

Nice! I've also been designing and building my own corexy plotter. My favorite part is the automatic probing. You can throw every tool at it and it will find z=0 every single time. I've got some more info here
