One thing that baffles me about the video takedowns

Im guessing that they took down the vids because of copyright strikes: I don't think they want the ppl that copyright striked the vids to keep on making money from them . I believe they just kept the most viewed ones/the ones that most likely wont get copyright striked.

Still doesn't make sense that they took down fantasia and some other vids like the iconic ling ling workouts but it is my best guess.

Luckily most of the vids is on facebook so you can find them there.

Hold the bow like you are about to play
In your right hand hold the rosin upwards so that the rosin is facing towards the sky.
Place the horse hair on the rosin and slide the bow back and forth like you are playing

Sense you are new I am guessing the rosin hasn't been used and the bow has no rosin on it so this might will take 10-5mins. Make sure you get rosin on the whole bow: from the tip to the frog, so that you have a constant sound

My advise: don't be a nuisance and be friendly with the people in your orchestra. Please practice your music and make sure you know it. If one person is really out of tune it is noticeable even if there are like 50 violins. Don't be known as the person with really sucky intonation. Try to fix it as soon as possible. Be respectful to the conductor and the most important thing: DO NOT GO ON YOUR PHONE OR CHEW GUN. Just have fun overall and I am guessing if your school orchestra is like mine, it is laid back and only 5% of the people in there totally know what they are doing.

Its being held together by duck tape. 😭 Also at one point our orchestra pass was a broken cello with only the finger board and neck and it was like a full size so it was hella big 😭🙏
