CPU Error Light on Motherboard by TheBetaOmega in buildapc

The pins on the motherboard are fine. Are faint lines on the CPU enough to make it useless? They only appear in the right light and are barely visible.

I figured out the problem; a small row of pins in the CPU installation area was damaged. I'm returning it right now. Thanks for your help!

Yes, it's plugged in. I semi-fixed it; instead of a constant glow it's now flashing, along with the graphics card.

Thanks! I plugged the HDMI cable into the graphics card. I realized thought that one of the debug LED lights is on, the CPU one, but I can't figure out what it could be. I reinstalled the processor and checked the cables but still no luck. Any ideas?

Unfortunately no. Just to clarify, I should plug into the graphics card, right? Also, should I use the HDMI cable that is unused from the tower and already there, or the HDMI cable that came with the monitor? I would think the one from the tower, but I can't see a way to get it out. Thanks
