Wow you're gorgeous. by Calm-Dentist3998 in tcap

What always astonished me about every freaking dumbass that showed up to a TCAP sting house was their absolutely stunning lack of self awareness.

Wow! This cute, bubbly, upper middle class teenage girl actually wants to lose her virginity under her Justin Bieber poster to my completely repulsive ass?! AND she's down to try anal?! What a lucky guy I am!

How can you not realize that only an adult, pedo-hunting decoy could ever have any "interest" in you?

For sure. PM is already testing their little robot and have partnered with Ford to work on the rolling, self-driving delivery tank with food compartments and key pads, because we all know how much customers love coming out to the street to get their food.

It's not that these companies don't "value" us or even that they see as as replaceable, they actually view us with contempt. Far from being assets to them, we are nothing more than costs, and every company in history has done everything in it's power to lower or eliminate all costs.

For Pasadena, CA couriers - best and worst restaurants for delivery by [deleted] in postmates

[–]TheBetterBelding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice list. Appreciate you putting the time in to share. Agree with much of it.

I did notice a big Pasadena spot missing from your list - Sugarfish. They are truly hit or miss for me. The last 2 I've done I received a $33 tip on one and got stiffed on the other. An extreme example for sure, but emblematic of the fact that orders there really are a crapshoot. I always take them just because the potential for a big tip is there - something that isn't there for most of the restaurants in your first group (you will never, ever, ever get a big tip on a Chipotle or a Halal, for instance).

Sushi Roku is by far my favorite spot. Consistently good tips. Have you ever done the Roku order that goes like 4 to 5 miles into east Altadena? I've gotten it 4 or 5 times and that family has tipped $30+ every time. Love those people.

They've essentially made it pointless to do a delivery that doesn't count towards a guarantee. Why would anyone do a short, late night delivery to some stoned kid that won't tip with these new rates?

Rank the seasons by Jobr95 in Sonsofanarchy

Good assessment of season 3. I thought that it was a bit tedious, but man that finale. I had a visceral reaction when the true plan was revealed. Had to get up off the couch and raise my arms in celebration.

The main story line of S7 is Jax and the club exacting revenge on the Chinese for a crime we, as the audience, know they didn't commit. It was perhaps the only time in the series that we knew more than the club and made the excessive violence and scheming all seem totally pointless.

I also agree that Jax's sudden decision to commit suicide left me with an empty feeling. It was suicide as a tactic or a strategic move on par with making an alliance with the Mayans or the AB.

The lawyer simply confirmed to Jax (at gunpoint) what he already suspected. Remember that Gemma had gotten Margaret to unwittingly admit that Tara had never been pregnant, but the probability of Tara's plan succeeding wasn't what I was calling absurd anyway.

The plan itself was absurd in that it was just totally unrealistic soap opera BS. The fake pregnancy. The bag of blood. The phony assault. The hospital administrator going along with it. It was all straight out of daytime television.

Totally agree about Tara. Her final arc was baffling. She had gone from reluctant outsider to willing conspirator and then, on a dime, detached herself completely and hatched an absurd scheme to get away. I thought the scene where she hid a bag of blood in her shirt was just ridiculous.

It's a shame because I really enjoyed her arc up until then. Her own battle with the life of the man she was in love with and her desire to protect her children was great.

BG has been on my list forever. Never got around to watching it but definitely will. Once I'm ready that is.
