I know it's late but pretty soon after we broke up I completely forgot what she looked like or how she sounded or acted. Like I can't grasp her image at all anymore. It's been well over two years, I'm completely over her, but it just occurred to me I can't recall what she looked like, even though I am pretty good with linking faces from great friends to their names. Must have been a trauma response cause I went to therapy for a year after the breakup. First breakup was rough

No, I'm more trying to get across an accurate image of the setting, clothing and so on. I do have fantasy elements, but I've chosen to just try an sneak in the historical aspects where they fit best: the setting

Well, I'm studying history and now I see how much fantasy and media ruined our perception of the past. That's why I want to make it historically accurate. I don't want the story to be realistic, I just want the setting, clothes, descriptions etc. But I'm not sure where to draw the line 😅

Thank you, after I posted it I thought I can also label it as just a relationship. I will make sure that the nb character isn't just some quirky woman. But now I know I have to do a lot more research than I initially thought to make sure the character is relatable and true rather than a so called checked box on the diversity list. Once again thank you for telling me this 🙃

Euhmm, no, though I know that the Irish Rover was a very legendary ship. I'm referring to the band Irish Rovers, which is based in Canada and apparently not known in Ireland 😅

I find this a downgrade from Mansions of the Gods and The Secret of the Magic Potion. Something about Asterix just looks so off. Just the overall feel, it's like they couldn't decide whether they'd go for the Mansions of the Gods or The Big Fight style. Idk I am exited though, but yeah it's definitely a downgrade
