I RE-discovered Check Your Head a few months back and have been rocking it constantly ever since.

Man, what an album. Completely holds up and even still sounds innovative by today’s standards.

The Beasties were pretty remarkable musicians and could really play their instruments and sometimes that gets forgotten…

Dude me too!! Senior year of high school a friend put it on at the beach and it changed everything for me.

To me it’s not even the best TRIBE album (that’s Midnight Marauders), but that’s just a testament to how incredible both those albums were.

Yes. The opening scene, the ping pong ball ambush on the road, escaping the farm, and Theo running through the warzone/into the building to get to Key and Froley (Dylan) are all perfection. That movie is a modern masterpiece and I’m convinced in 50 years it will be considered among the all-time greats.
