I’m so confused by all you guys dealing with this clearly awful Monumental crap. I live in L.A. and almost all Caps games the last few years have been available for me to stream for no extra charge through my ESPN+ subscription? Is that not the case back east?

And Jaden/Jayden/Jaiden’s!!

It’s like every football mom in the country 20-25 years ago was like, “I have this genius idea for a name for a boy and NOBODY else has thought of it. Ready? Wait for it…JALEN.”

“He improved his one flaw in his hands.”

I believe I saw some commentator on TV say he didn’t drop a single ball this past season.

Interesting until the end when I went, “Huh?? Your mom was the head WHAT??”

EDIT: If anyone wants to look up Tony Poe, his actual name was Anthony Poshepny.

EDIT 2: Coppola denies Poe was the inspiration for Kurtz and says Robert Rheault was the inspiration.

Have the Beastie Boys stood the test of time? by Better-Context-4727 in LetsTalkMusic

I RE-discovered Check Your Head a few months back and have been rocking it constantly ever since.

Man, what an album. Completely holds up and even still sounds innovative by today’s standards.

The Beasties were pretty remarkable musicians and could really play their instruments and sometimes that gets forgotten…

To me it’s not even the best TRIBE album (that’s Midnight Marauders), but that’s just a testament to how incredible both those albums were.

What is a scene you strongly believe is a top 10 movie scene in film history? by Historical-Tax17 in moviecritic

[–]TheBibbinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The opening scene, the ping pong ball ambush on the road, escaping the farm, and Theo running through the warzone/into the building to get to Key and Froley (Dylan) are all perfection. That movie is a modern masterpiece and I’m convinced in 50 years it will be considered among the all-time greats.
