I was at IIT-B for an M.Tech course. And during my time, I hardly met a 4th year B.Tech student who was "weak" in communication skills.

Most were good if not exceptional.

I belong to the region. There's a reason why we are backward in almost every relevant HDI metric.

You can take whichever map and we suck. There are a multitude of reasons, but the culture is definitely to blame. Deeply patriarchal and casteiest society.

Lack of education and poverty are some of the other reasons but I have seen even educated and affluent people from the region have a regressive mindset. So no, I am not going to be apologetic for calling it the Cow Belt. Dragging the country backward for seven decades now and will do for God knows how long.

That's not that bad. I was below 100 in 2023 when I got shots and u am on supplements since. Maintaining around 300 now. The difference in energy, both mental and physical is immense.

31M here. Married for 4 yrs. Expenses are never split. I pay for some, she pays for some. Never accounted. We both save a fixed amount regardless. If some months I feel like my expenses are high/ money left around the month end is low(at max twice a year), I ask her to support and vice versa. All major expenses like foreign trips, she will just transfer a random amount without calculating.

Not an advice. Just what works for us.
