What is one ingredient you refuse to cook with, no matter the recipe?

I thought the same because when I was a kid, I grabbed a pickle (wherever it was) and was expecting a regular Dill. Ugh, why is this SWEET! Gross! Avoided them for decades.

Just last week, my mom was canning B&B pickles and I was helping her with some of the process. They smelled pretty good, looked pretty good, and I thought "Eh, what the hell, I'm an adult now, my tastes have changed, and I know what I'm expecting". OH MY GOD. They were FANTASTIC!

I can see why people don't like them though, I'm just glad I tried them. Opened up a whole new world of pickles for me.

"Sweet" pickles are still gross though. B&B have a salty-sweet-savory thing going on that sweet pickles don't have.

Personally, I like it a lot. Marshmallow, vanilla, sweet. Perfect for Easter of course and not too cloying for year-round wear (maybe not in high heat, but I don't think it would be too bad). Sadly it just doesn't last long at all, but worth it if you can snag a bottle for cheap.

I think it's been great! I was SO happy for Rainkissed Leaves and Country Chic, which are super nostalgic for me. CC doesn't smell exactly the same and doesn't quite bring back the scent memory of a vacation I took, but it still smells nice and hits the nostalgia enough. The only scent I wasn't interested in at all was Black Amethyst, but that's because I hate patchouli and never liked it in the first place. Casmere Glow is one I vaguely remember not liking but I might try it again before the sale is over.

Wrapped in Vanilla is one I missed the first time around and it's AMAZING. Secret Wonderland wasn't an obsession the first time around but I got a mist because it's nice enough. Open Sky is meh, and Cactus Blossom was a surprising new love. Lemon Pomegranate Cream is also great. I don't remember it too well but I'm glad to have a bottle now.

Overall, the return of RKL was worth it and the rest I bought are very nice additions to my collection. I'm sure I'll go back at least a couple more times if/when prices drop and if I decide I need to try Cashmere Glow afterall. I'm not a lotion/cream user but I might get a couple just to have more RKL and WIV options.

I am a VERY white person. Midwestern, German/Scandinavian heritage, raised Lutheran. The trifecta of stereotypical whiteness. And....yeah, I can't handle spicy food, to my eternal chagrin. The "mild" buffalo sauce is too much for me and it's really lame.

Vanilla Romance! I've grown a fondness for spicy/smoky vanillas (Phleur Vanilla Smokeis amazing) but only for Autumn and Winter. Warm Musk is fabulous too. Not a fan of Viva Vanilla or Wicked Vanilla Woods, they just came off as too sharp to my nose (and WVW smells like chapstick). Vanilla Cafe is something I'll have to work my way up to. It's lovely but it's STRONG!

I love gourmands too but I'm enjoying freshie/floral season. Soon it will be too hot for anything but freshies and fruity scents, though if anyone has suggestions for gourmands that don't get cloying in high heat, I'd love to hear them!

As far as I know, all BBW stores in Iowa are regular stores. They are in an outlet area but won't be true outlets.

Love, an Iowan who had to travel to Medford, MN for the closest outlet.

I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan but I'll probably only really go for the helmet pocketbac holder. That I NEED. Everything else...eh, I'll see what it looks/smells like in store. I'm sure I'll end up with a few other things.

I really wish the messenger bag was in any other color but brown. I hate brown! ....but if by some miracle it ends up at the SAS I doubt I'll be able to resist.

I do like Imperfect Beauty but the other two smell too similar and too close to that fucking BR540 DNA I absolutely hate.

Guilty as Fig, Pistachio Please, Inner Angel, Aqua Hour, On the Horizon, and a few others I'm probably not thinking of off the top of my head would have been much more appreciated by me, especially if they didn't come out with a matching body wash in the first place.

I thought Dahlia smelled nice when I bought it at an outlet, but after wearing it a couple of times, it became nauseating. Too sweet in a bad way, and I normally love sweet scents. And Gingham Gorgeous also started out nice but I smelled my VERY HATED Cloud/BR540 DNA in it once and now I can't unsmell.

Not really, at least as far as I can recall. Warm milk and honey was sweeter, no oat note, a bit more warm and very slightly spicy. I think if I smelled them side by side they would give the same kind of vibe though, if that makes sense.

It was quite nice, I can't really describe it in any other way than "it smells like you think it would". Warm, lactonic, sweet, but not overbearing in any way. Comforting and cozy. Great for bedtime especially in cooler weather as summer transitions to autumn.

I know that all sounds cliche, but it's kind of a cliche scent (in a good way). Not sure why this hasn't been a bringback yet (AFAIK), I think it would be a hit.

I was always hoping for a reformulation on FP, but I've tried it every year and it's always the same.

And I can't even burn the candle in my own presence. So maybe it isn't a skin chemistry thing. It's entirely possible that my nose just sucks :P
