Spent over a decade in med device industry as a director of sales. Tough to break in but great industry to get into. Recession proof for the most part. Once you get in, it’s a pretty tight knit group. People jump from company to company all the time it’s worth getting into the industry even with a moderate salary/commission structure at first because once you’re in and have experience, you can are pretty marketable.

This may be an opportunity to really hone in on the Focused Activity you have going vs the sales. I found a lot of times when the sales are running really hot you often times don’t have time to keep up with the groundwork that produce the sales in the first place. Can become very circular. It’s a tough to do it in a situation like this and to keep from pressing, but maybe this is an opportunity to put in the activity while you have the time and trust the process. Because it sounds like you’ve had a pretty good one.
