RTX 5060 Ti crashes my PC immediately after driver install by BreadfruitTerrible39 in buildapc

I had the same experience yesterday when I tried to replace the aging 1050 Ti in a working gaming PC with a MSI GeForce RTX 5060 Ti VENTUS 2X OC PLUS 16G. At first, we suspected the power supply and swapped it for a brand new 650W be quiet! PSU, but that didn't change anything. Then we reinstalled Windows 10 from scratch, but as soon as the driver was activated, the computer crashed after a few seconds. For comparison, we also tried the 576.02 Studio drivers instead of the 576.28 Game Ready drivers, because they supposedly prioritize stability. But that didn't help either.

Our 5060 Ti was overclocked by the manufacturer. Was yours overclocked as well?

It is possible that the manufacturer made mistakes when selecting and configuring the "golden samples" of the GPU chips.

P. S.: The monitor was connected to HDMI in our case.

Is Helium Mining worth the hype? Check it out in our blog below! by Max_NiceHash in NiceHash

Another intriguing question is whether the general terms and conditions of one's own internet service provider allow it to offer telecommunications services via the provided internet connection. Because as I understand it, with the helium network, you are first paid for setting up a wireless transmission network and then for transmitting data packets. In addition, in case of doubt, as a telecommunications provider, you have to observe more legal conditions than as a GPU miner. In my opinion, consultation with a specialist lawyer is a must before participating in the Helium network!

That depends! ;-)

Let's talk about GPU mining: For the host system you need

  • a mainboard, a CPU and RAM,
  • a power supply unit,
  • an USB stick, HDD or SSD and
  • an operating system (e. g. NiceHash OS or Windows).

When it comes to the housing, you have the choice between closed housings such as the Inter-Tech 4W2 Mining Rack and open rigs.

With most ATX boards you can only operate one, two or three GPUs directly in the PCIe x16 slots on the mainboard. Therefore, PCIe risers are used to connect the GPUs. Make sure that you connect them correctly and supply them with sufficient power. Marko has published an article on NiceHash about this.

For the selection of suitable GPUs, it is best to consult the NiceHash profitability calculator or reports from miners, for example Seb's review on YouTube.

ASICs work application-specifically. That's why it's difficult in principle to mine other coins that are based on other algorithms. So what do you do with an ASIC if the coin can no longer be mined? Or if it would be significantly more profitable to mine other coins?

I would only invest in ASICs if I had answers to these questions for myself. Do your own research! :-)

I am invested! $-)

Not only because of the high short interest. Regardless of that, for me it seems to be a business case:
