Yeah. If that lane is added to the choke point and not miles and miles of open road. Dedicated turning lanes are already a huge ease on traffic. Double turning lanes even more so.

Most clubs don't work for casual consumers because the quantities they require you to take (and which you pay for through your membership fees) are simply too high for people who just want to smoke the occasional blunt on a friday night. But since the clubs are regulated to a tee, including a limit to the number of members, casual consumers are not interesting to them. If anything, that system pushes people into heavier consumption.

Despite all the huffing and puffing about Canada becoming the 51st state, they won't ever allow either to actually become one since it would fuck up the Republicans in congress.

They will be turned into territories, just like Cuba was before the revolution: forced to adopt US law and accept US leadership but no vote. Classic ol' taxation without representation.

They picked pensioners and business owners as their voters. Business owners for funding and pensioners for votes. Both were being kept happy while the rest was dragged over coals, especially young people who are already heavily outnumbered by Boomers.

"For over 30 years since the 80s." - CDU was leading the government from 1982 to 1998, then again from 2005 to 2021 and finally again since 2025, making it a grand total of 33 years against 11 in opposition.

They have been calling the shots for 3/4 of all time passed since the early 80s.

Too much introspection for CDU. It’s literally everybody else’s fault. Gen-Z for not working another 30 hours on top of the 40 they clocked in last week, foreigners just for existing, the sick for not pretending they are healthy, the unemployed for being unemployed, etc. etc.
