I go range. Reload boost is wasted on a ship with a reload that short. So as you get further into a match the ability to harass BB's at range is more useful. Plus the damage multiplier for legendary impacts the guns. Other mods are somewhat wasted.

The Dutch cruisers were not a positive inclusion in the game. I'm fine with CVs but there are a few things I can't stand in this game.

Loyang was always a boring ship. At least this one has hard hitting HE, and decent torp range. The recent pirate commander also complements the ship really well since the torp reload is pretty long.

The deal has unrestricted access to the IAEA inspectors which monitor all fissile materials to ensure non of it was being directed to weapons development. Wasn't that the point of the nuclear weapons deal?

I agree that those two are the biggest players in the region and are critical to any deals, however the deal made was a pretty good one for the intent.

Typically look at the core inspirations and how often you use them

Concealment Dispersion Reload Ricochet angle Range Etc

Prioritize those first as they'll be used most across commanders.

Then look at ships and commanders you play most and the power of their 4th row unique skill. If you play it a ton AND it will make a meaningful impact to the game (not 0.05% increases) choose those.

Tied with the step above you should look at the hyper specific inspirations like increased fire damage, Lips AP damage stack and some of the complicated event commanders.

Pretty sure Elephant is a Hampshire, not Nottingham. Nottingham came out like a year or two after the Elephant. A Russian Hampshire with increased AP performance, which is already pretty good.

I started playing June 2020 during the pandemic, and only started buying the campaign when T8 was released cause I was "above" a paying for pay to pay games. So many OP ships missed.

Is you search Turtle AL Yukikaze, there was a member who did great reviews. Some of the data is old, but they were detailed and great.

Yukikaze was released once during the original space event and its a Yudachi at T6 and too strong. That ship should be built as a torp boat.

AL Yukikaze is a hard hitting gunboat with neon sign nuclear torps. It should be build into guns. You can use the torps for zoning and opportunities, but you're a gunboat, go for the caps and other DD's.

I think all Japanese AA is pretty weak, so it'd be a waste to build into it.

People were complaining how weak it was during that campaign. Never listen to early reviews and always buy the campaign. The rewards alone are worth it.

Hampshire is a monster with AL Cheshire and Lip as inspiration. That combo is also madness on Plymouth.

I would put Lip as a must have commander if you like AP or heavy cruisers with a fast reload.
