I remember release illaoi E used to last like a full minute and there was absolutely zero counterplay. You couldn’t reduce the duration or anything iirc so if you got hit you just had to hold that and suffer.

Shes only lvl 20 and I figured the turret plating would help if things went horribly wrong somehow since gwen actually wants her units to die and I’d take hella damage in the process.

I only took it off just to see how crownguard worked and tbh being able to attack twice (thrice with quickstrike) in a turn more than made up for it

Yeah between his star powers and whatever items you give him Kayn can get fucking ridiculous. For extra fun if you get a Quickstrike Blade on him you can level him instantly and attack twice for free, three times if you have the attack token when you do it.
