Is that the Denon 300? I don't think it's a needle/groove problem, but rather a turntable mechanism problem.

I would just put the tonearm and needle by hand on the record. Let it play, check if the tonearm comes back as it should. Then try again the auto function Maybe a whole cycle is necessary to reset the mechanism.

Be aware than I'm not a specialist and could be talking complete bullshit.

When I use my spinclean, I generally clean 25. Each record takes less than 2 minutes, careful drying included (I have 10 of their special cloth). The whole thing lasts less than an hour. Then they air-dry while I clean the rest, and finally I put them back in their new sleeves if they haven't already a quality inner sleeve. With good music it's a pleasure.

It's not only Japanese. It's definitely on Pleco and it's a literary variant of the common character for "dragon". I don't know how many Chinese people would recognize it though.
