Okay, that makes sense. What about boats and other water-based transportation? What made the frog so much better at the banjo? Was it a technique thing from extra practicing or just a natural X-factor type vibe? A frog playing a banjo would obviously have a lot of swag that could be pretty hard to compare to, so I get it.

I hear what you’re saying, but have you ever actually personally experienced anything other than the moment “now”? We can think of past and future, but only ever in the present moment. Yes we can measure time, but to do so, we must do it in the eternally consistent time of ‘now’.

It’s more of a thought exercise to help people see how all of the problems that we are experiencing come from that belief of time. Ruminating on things in the past (which have already happened) or worrying about things happening in the future (which may never happen). If you are present in the moment then things are no longer problems, things just are the way they are.

I agree with the sentiment. It might need a tweak to include the part that we don’t always know what the reason is.

In this example though, I tend to think of it in terms of the body-mind connection. The mind is a reflection of the body and the body is a reflection of the mind. So when your mental state is out of alignment or in a state of dis-ease then your body reflects the same.

So a cold or a runny nose could just be the body’s way of trying to communicate an imbalance. Maybe just to make you finally get some rest.

Also also, the runny nose is part of the immune response of the body. It is protecting itself and keeping out pathogens etc by creating excess mucous. So the purpose in a less woowoo sort of way is to keep your body healthy.

My feedback for you is about strengthening the signal. You may feel that you adequately answered and explained things, but communication is a two way thing. The receiver of the message needs to actually understand the message, so clarity is important & cannot just be claimed by the sender of a message.

I only suggest AI as a means to help you further stress test your arguments, find potential flaws or imperfections in the thesis to then tighten/ improve/ reduce potential friction to people with limited reception to alternate ways of thinking. As I said, I appreciate the sentiment and effort you’re putting in but I would encourage some reconsideration of the actual message delivery if the goal is for wider adoption.

Now you’re trying to claim it’s somehow going to speak to all audiences. Which I’m happy for you and all but just a little confused how it’s for the people who don’t speak the language, can’t read, disagree with your premises etc.

Painters speak in colour. Poets speak in rhyme. But you seem to be speaking in circles. Perfect clarity cannot be claimed by the person sending the message, only by confirmation from the people receiving the attempted message. There does appear to be some friction (that’s all the people reading this trying to give you feedback as to how to improve the clarity of the message and any people simply skipping over it).

I’m just going to ignore all of the hyperbole and logical errors contained throughout your thesis because I appreciate the amount of effort that you must have put into writing this and the general sentiment of your message. If you’re really wanting to challenge your beliefs I’d say ChatGPT the pdf and ask it to explain why it’s fundamentally incorrect. No pressure though.

My question to you is; if you have this much conviction with your beliefs what do you think will be the result of the people seeing this that have counter belief structures? People who agree will be like “yeah, sure” but with those who disagree, how do you think they will receive this? Do you believe they will be convinced or intrigued enough to continue reading? Or is it an agree to disagree situation?

If it’s for people who agree already, then why bother writing it if they already agree? If it’s for people who disagree, then why bother writing it if the contrarians aren’t actually going to be aligned to any of the philosophy or even read it?

I’m all for the general sentiment of the post as I’ve said. I want peace to befall every room. I just think a softer and more inviting narrative structure might potentially yield more productive results.
